Our Story

About the team.

John and Dexter met a 4moms, a technology startup in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they designed products and built a friendship.

Although both left 4moms to pursue other opportunities, they
continued to work together and started Quipt in 2017 as a platform 
to explore new product ideas.  

We’re thrilled to have Maria Marchewka – Digital Marketing and Social
Media expert, join the team in 2020. 

About the name.

Quipt, as in “equipped,” was short, succinct, and broad enough in meaning to allow us, as a design-led company, to go into many product categories. Our first product, the Tray & Clamp, follows Quipt’s ethos; create simple, straightforward and useful products.
